Power threshing system with two rods 'T'
Intermittent rotary motion
Great performance without damaging the tree
About the machine.
The hydraulic comb pickers, is a patent of 1967 by Emmanuel Vassalos.
It works with a pump which is driven by a motor (movement transmit a leash) and which pump compresses and expands successively two oil containers which are located outside the pump (yellow). The containers are connected to the rods with a hydraulic pressure hose (10 meters) into which become the reciprocating movement of the oil. So transmit a regression to the rod which incorporates a piston at the bottom of. The piston in turn is connected to a cable that runs through the entire length of the bar, resulting in the head. The wire rope in the head is connected to a chain which presses on a pinion (free type bicycle) and the constant is connected to a return spring. having this whole arrangement can achieve a rotary intermittent motion which allows us to put many rods in the machine's head without fearing of it wraping the branches. Also, this way we avoid damage to the tree and maximize the performance of the harvest.
